Oh Summer! You are the best! Every day is a beach day here in London. But hold on, there isn’t really a beach here, is it?! Well there is one, it’s not exactly big or located by the seaside, but it’s full of the softest sand, packed with people and has a bit of river Thames near it (even though swimming and paddling aren’t allowed.) And still I love this Royal Victoria Docks oasis located just 5 minutes walk from my flat. Beach is what London lacks the most! And for the girl who grew up in the seaside town and always had a luxury of going to the real beach and swimming in the real sea that’s a major miss!
For the relaxing beachside afternoon I decided to wear my mint dress from The Fifth Label, new crochet South Beach bikini and some jeans. I had to wear jeans with this dress because it’s just so transparent! Which is perfect for the holidays but can cause some confusion in the middle of the city. Add some Birks and a perfect beach tote and the outfit is super comfy and occasion appropirate.
