Top Floor

This is my last post from the weekend in Luxembourg. I have already told you about a Formula 1 gala dinner that I attended and about the city itself. So one last thing that I want to show you is the beautiful sky bar located on the top floor of our Sofitel Le Grand Ducal hotel.

Being on the 8th floor this bar is a perfect place to overlook the city and admire its beauty. Every day throughout our stay started with a breakfast accompanied by a stunning view. And every evening before heading out we would stop for yet another delicious cocktail. Cool fact about this particular cocktail that we shot for the post was that it appeared to be listed amongst the best creations of the most talented mixologists in Luxembourg. Imagine my surprise when during our flight back to London I read about it in the Flydoscope magazine.

I am wearing a beautiful Catherine Deane dress that has a special ‘feel good’ factor to it. I had it for a few months now but was waiting for an appropriate occasion and location to make its first appearance. Once I found out about this trip the first item that was mentally packed was this dress. Something about its very soft and gentle fabrics make me feel like it was made for me and my body type. Pencil dresses like this can be quite tight and restraining, but its not the case here. And it was also a first time that I wore my Jimmy Choos after my wedding. Just looking at them makes me smile and remember that magical day.
