LFW is over and this is what I wore yesterday to the last day of shows. I decided to do something I never do – match the colours of my top and jeans. I don’t have a better explanation to this decision rather than noticing that two garments in my closet share a very similar shade of blue and that paired together they made me feel bohemian and different. What can I say, my brain works in unexpected ways during LFW. I liked the result!
I would also like to mention that if you actually happened to see me on the streets yesterday any time after Emilio De La Morena show you would notice that I was wearing flats and walking all over my long flares. Reason for that was that early on some painful blisters (from spending all these days in heels) bursted open and I couldn’t make another step in high heels. This is the reality of fashion weeks, something that all of us, high heel lovers, have to go through but not everyone would share. We all think that we can be Carrie Bradshaw and live in heels 24/7 but, honestly, it’s just impossible. So its no surprise that I’ll be spending all day today working from home and healing my poor feet before I can wear any shoes again.
On a happier note, I saw two amazing shows yesterday. Scroll down to see a couple of images from Emilio De La Morena and Ashish. Ashish is always an exciting show to attend! There’s so much glitter, sequins and cool music! Models are edgy and beautiful! Clothes are unexpected (think Kimye faces on the back of the jackets) and so desirable! I was also thrilled to see one of the American Next Top Model contestants walk the catwalk! Can you recognise who I’m talking about from the pictures below?
Enjoy the post!
