Sorry for a little delay with the first look from the first day of the London Fashion Week. It was crazy and excitedly busy so far and here is my recap of where I went and what I wore yesterday. Fashion weeks are a special time for everyone in the fashion industry and bloggers are not an exception. It’s a great opportunity to show our take on current trends, style and show off some statement outfits and be snapped by the street style photographers from hundreds of publications and websites from all over the world. It’s fair to say that street style plays almost as important role during fashion weeks as the catwalks.
So for my first outfit I went for a major colour blocking. Don’t these colours complement each other perfectly? I was very worried about not being cold too and layered with some invisible t-shirts underneath. Not all the layers have to be seen, haha:) The other thing besides the colours that I love about this look is that it creates such a beautiful shape while in a movement. It has way more wow effect while walking than standing. And thanks to the talented Victoria Adamson my outfit was captured at its best.
Scroll down to see a couple of pictures from the shows that I went to yesterday. So far, the main trend that I have spotted on the catwalks is the return of the 70’s. It’s flared jeans, suede and fringes everywhere.
Come back tomorrow to see my look from day 2 and have a good night now x
P.S. You can also see snaps of this outfit in Grazia Italy, Refinery29, Stylist and Telegraph x
