Casual Chic

Well hello there again! Time for a new outfit post! I realised that I use the words ‘casual chic’ very often on the blog but I have never actually dedicated a whole post to it. So here we go.

I first wanted to call this look and ‘everyday work wear’ meaning that this is my absolute go-to, most comfortable outfit possible for a typical work day. But then I thought that it doesn’t really sound very interesting whereas casual chic takes everyday work wear to another level while still meaning sort of the same. This coat has been my most worn coat in the past two seasons and I guess it will remain that way for a long time. Nothing can outdate a classical black coat and the amount of outfits that it helped me create is endless. So if you don’t have one of these already I strongly recommend you get one. I love wearing stripy clothes because they immediately give a boost to any outfit and add that Parisian vibe to it. For a busy day out and about I choose trainers, biker boots or flats 99% of the time. And if there is an evening event later in the day, I try to fit a pair of heels into my bag. Do you agree that this is a great example of a casual chic look? Would you change or add anything to it? Let me know.

By the way, thank you so much for leaving comments in the previous post helping me to decide whether to vlog or not to vlog. The answer is clear to me now and I’m starting to put the wheels in motion. So you can expect the first video coming very soon. I just need to set up my YouTube channel to have somewhere to invite you all. Thank you for the support! Let’s keep having a discussion more often!.
