A Day in Whitstable

PL2_9800Happy Sunday guys! A couple of weeks ago we went on a mini road trip to a small seaside town not too far from London called Whitstable. And even though it rained almost the entire time I still loved it. So far, out of all the English seaside towns I’ve been to, I liked Whitstable the most. It’s famous for it’s local oysters and other seafood which you can buy all along the beach from the little huts and shops. They sell oysters like other places sell hot-dogs and it’s something I’ve never seen before. Oysters and other seafood is really quite cheap there too and we had a lovely crab and lobster lunch. There are mountains of oyster shells laying near the beach everywhere you look so this place felt quite exotic too. I should definitely visit it again when it’s nice and sunny! And we should do road trips like this more often too!

My husband and I have been looking for a nice British destination to visit for birthdays and Valentine’s Day. Whitstable sounds lovely.
Thanks.
