Thira. Santorini

Hey guys! I am now back in London (rainy London) and I can’t wait to share the rest of my Greek shoots with you. This one is from Thira, Santorini. Thira is one of the towns on the island and it is amongst the most popular and big ones. It’s full of tourists, souvenir shops and lovely restaurants. The entire island of Santorini is really small and it’s amazing that it fits so many visitors on a daily basis. We were told that the majority of tourists come from the cruise ships. There are about 4 cruise ships there every day and each one has around 7,000 people! Can you imagine?! That’s why it’s quite crowded on the streets of Thira (and Oia).

Thira also holds some of the most postcard worthy views of the island. Standing at the top of the town you get the most amazing panoramic views. You can also see the volcano (looks like a black island in the water, see the picture below). It’s so photogenic around there that it was hard for me to narrow this post down.

I wore a double denim look that day and colour matched the streets perfectly. We were so lucky with the weather during the entire trip that it was actually a bit too warm to wear a long-sleeved denim shirt. I am so grateful that I could prolong my Summer a bit!
