It finally and truly feels like summer is here, right? After what seems like the longest ‘in-between’ weather, we can finally enjoy the warmth of the sun, the blue of the sky and the beauty that is summer. It makes me want to spend all hours of the day outside, so I’m planning a road trip down to Devon for my dear friend’s wedding.
That day when I feel I can go outside without a coat or a jacket always is one of the happy milestones of every year for me. So when I woke up to find a beautiful day on Sunday and realised that I have just the right outfit for it – the ‘OOTD’ (outfit of the day) was a no brainer. You guys all know that I am a big fan of Crew Clothing Company. They are amazing at producing relaxed and easy to wear staples every season while being trendy in a sophisticated and elegant way. I know that if I want to find a perfect t-shirt or a knit I can rely on them for it. And so I picked my favourite pieces from their new collection and headed to one of the most beautiful spots in London – Columbia Road Flower Market ahead of my trip to Devon.
Buying flowers is such a favourite activity of mine. And buying flowers at Columbia Road Flower Market is a huge deal. It’s not only because it is so beautiful there and with such a vast choice but also because it’s sort of a challenge and requires the right amount of preparation 😀 If you’ve ever been there you know that the amount of ‘flower-lovers’ that come to the market every Sunday is insane and you have to have good crowd skills and the perfect outfit to succeed. So this grey t-shirt, khaki chinos and cosy navy cardigan from the Crew Clothing Company was just what I needed to feel comfortable and chic at the same time.
I will update you on my trip to Devon in a few weeks’ time, but for now I am packing this outfit into my suitcase as it’s definitely coming with me.
