St.Petersburg | Pt.1

Hello hello hello! It feels like I haven’t blogged in forever, even though it’s only been 11 days! I allowed myself a full-on holiday without a lap top during our visit to the beautiful Saint Petersburg and now I have so many beautiful posts to share with you.

I went to St.Petersburg with Patrik and my parents to visit my uncle who lives there with his family. It was my fourth time in the city but the very first one for Patrik. So we were determined to see as much of it in a week as we could and let me tell you straight away – the rain didn’t ruin our plans! And yes, unfortunately, it rained 5 days out of 7 and with such low temperatures outside too! I will write a full recap of where we’ve been and which museums we’ve visited in one of my future posts, but today I wanted to share the pictures from our (mostly dry) walk in the city centre.

Every time I come to St.Pete I am stunned at its’ grand beauty! If you haven’t been there before, you just HAVE to add it to your bucket list. You just can’t miss out on seeing such history, beauty and luxury with your own eyes. The numerous museums and breathtaking palaces, the pretty and cosy canals and bridges, boat rides and world’s most artistic tube stations – these are just a few things that St.Petersburg has to offer. And have you ever seen white nights? It’s the time during the summer when it never gets fully dark in the night! It’s the most unusual experience! In this post you’ll see the pictures of the iconic Church of Saviour On Blood, Kazan Cathedral, Russian Museum and A.Pushkin memorial. I hope you enjoy them!

Oh and I had to borrow my uncle’s bomber jacket as it was so cold the day 🙂
