It’s 26th of August, meaning it’s still summer. Meaning that it’s not too late to talk about my summer wardrobe favourites.
A character trait that I most certainly don’t possess is pessimism. And I find it quite pessimistic how so many people start to complain that summer is finished as soon as August arrives. I believe that as long as I am walking outside in shorts and light dresses – the summer fun continues.
These days London is still very warm and I can keep wearing my favourite pieces that I got this season. You’ve seen me in this Ale by Alessandra dress from Revolve plenty on my Instagram over the past few months. And I will go as far as saying that this is my favourite, most comfortable summer dress ever. I like it so much that I’m still considering buying few more of the same style from this brand. Once you find something that fits you well, it’s good to stock up on it, right?
Wicker basket bags are definitely trending worldwide this season and I scored this cute Topshop one as soon as it hit the stores a month or so ago. Never before did the traditional gardening basket got so much attention from the fashion crowd. It’s funny how trends appear. Also, with the latest purchase of Cult Gaia ‘IT’ bag I now have a nice wicker/bamboo bag collection. And wrapping up my favourites with these lace up sandals from Bimba Y Lola. This is the sixth pair of the flat lace up sandals in my shoes wardrobe because there is nothing more versatile and flattering that I can think of for summer.
What are your favourite summer purchases?
