Red Dress

written by Julia Lundin July 16, 2014

A simple red dress can do wonders. You don’t need any accessories, you don’t need fancy hair or make up and you still look and feel unique. Like a red drop you stand out from the crowd. That’s how I feel every time I wear this LNA dress.

Red dresses can sometimes be tricky to wear. It’s very important to keep everything else about your look minimal. Otherwise you might come out a bit clownish or even inappropriate. My dress is also tricky because of how ‘naked’ it is. It’s made of the lightest and most transparent fabric and for somewhat shy people like myself it’s probably most wearable on the vacation over a bikini. Of course there are ways to make it work in your normal day life and I managed to do so for this shoot.

I had this location in mind for a while now and was just waiting for the right weather to shoot there. This beautiful arch is located in Kensington Gardens and according to some research I’ve done it is full of purple flowers during a specific┬átime of the year. Can you imagine how mesmerising that must be? Need to make sure to visit it then.

On an other note I am super happy with your comments about my redesigned blog! Thank you so much for all your thoughts and opinions! I am going to introduce more beauty posts and maybe even start experimenting with some behind-the-scenes videos. Also please let me know if there is anything specific you would like to see more of.

Have a great day,

Julia x
