Hey hey! How is everyone?
As promised I’m uploading more of my everyday looks, though you’ll still see quite a few of my holiday summery ones too. You have already seen this Lipsy faux fur coat recently in one of my Christmas posts HERE and as I mentioned then it’s such a versatile piece that can be styled in so many different ways. So here is a completely different look where I’m swapping an elegant pencil skirt with casual boyfriend jeans and heels for trainers. Which look do you prefer?
I’ve already hinted earlier this week that there are a couple of interesting events waiting for me. One was on Monday when I got to attend the screening of the first episode of the new season of HBO’s Girls. That was super fun and I’m intrigued to see the rest of the season. Next event is happening tomorrow at 8am, so I’m already going to be on the road at 6.50am. The reason for such an early start is that I’m gonna undergo an intense workout with the fitness maven, Kayla Itsines, who is going to be training with us live from Australia. I’m also going to preview a new Lorna Jane SS15 activewear collection.
Now let me share a small exercising confession with you guys. I’m so bad at committing to exercising. I would occasionally get really motivated and would do some sort of training every day until something interferes with the schedule and I give up. Throughout my life I’ve attended dancing classes (all through my school years, my longest exercising commitment by far) and after that it’s been just series of monthly (or sometimes weekly) routines. Most of them I would do at home with a DVD. If you are into home exercising, then my favourite one is MEL B fitness program, so try it if you are interested. Other than that, I would occasionally do stretching, skip rope jumping or yoga on Wii (love it and still do it sometimes). When the weather was nice in the summer I went to my local outdoor park gym or just simply decide to take stairs instead of lifts whenever I could. But to be honest, none of these ever lasted long enough for me to feel or see any results. I know that going to the proper gym or gym classes would be a wonderful solution, but I don’t like doing it and believe me I tried. So when I got invited to tomorrow’s intensive workout I decided to test myself and possibly make a new habit which is perfect for the beginning of the new year. So for the past week, I’ve been doing some exercises at home to prepare for the event and to be honest I’m quite scared. This workout will be filmed (no pressure there…) and available for you guys to follow. I will be wearing heart rate strap for cycling for an inside look of what is going on. I will let you know the link as soon as I get it. So wish me luck and give me a shout if you are the same exercising struggler like me:)

Really love this post. I have some faux fur pieces that I’ve been struggling on how to style for the daytime. This gave me some great ideas!
