Mixing Florals

Hey guys, as I said on today’s Instagram picture – Monday is a perfect time to follow those dreams of yours. So keep that thought in mind if you are not in your best mood on Mondays. I’m almost always excited about the start of a new week as you never know what it may bring and it’s a very good feeling. So I guess this makes me a pro-Monday person (though to be honest I was anti-Monday all the way through school and uni).

I wanted to start this week with a very warm, sunny and floral post from Abu Dhabi. I put this look on the night before it was shot to wear it for a dinner and I remember very clearly how spontaneous the decision to mix these two items was. I can’t say that I’m a natural at mixing different prints and patterns so it seemed like a bold move when I decided to try whether these things would work together. And I think they complement each other nicely! Back when I posted this look from the dinner that night on Instagram in November I got so many compliments from you guys that I knew I had to shoot it for the blog too. You also encouraged me to experiment more (although I think it’s a bit easier to do that in summer then winter). What do you think?
