Braun Silk-Epil 9

Hey guys! I am super excited to share this post with you as there is quite a bit of information that I want you to know as well as my personal confession. So here we go!

As you can see from the title today I am going to talk about the new BRAUN Silk-Epil 9 epilator and exfoliation system. So here comes my confession – I am an epilator first-timer, have never used it before and was always quite scared of the whole idea (thanks to various friends and magazine articles). So I have been using simple razors all my life and actually never felt like it bothered me (even thought the idea of shaving my legs once in several weeks was always appealing). But when BRAUN Silk-Epil 9 kit landed on my doorstep I knew it was time!

So the first thing I did was to study everything that is written on the packaging and the manual as well as attaching and detaching all the different heads that come inside the box. I have decided to be super prepared for my first ever experience by knowing how everything works. And I liked the sound of this new generation BRAUN epilator:

-it has 40% wider head to catch even more hair in one go

-it has wider, longer and deeper tweezers for the best possible epilation as well as a high frequency massage system and skin-adapting pivoting head

-it can be used on dry or wet skin depending on your preferences

-and has a smartlight designed to make the epilation super efficient and never miss a single hair

On top of that I could also exchange the epilator head to an exfoliating brush to create a proper skin SPA in my own bathroom. There are also 6 different extras in the box to cater all your needs like contour trimming and shaving.

And so I did it! Haha, I can finally say that I know what epilation feels like. It’s not scary and it’s not painful. Actually I didn’t feel any discomfort at all. It’s quick and efficient and who knows why I wasted all those years of my life on razors.
