LFW Day With River Island and Shopstyle at The Apartment

Let the London Fashion Week diaries begin! And I wanted to start this journey with a very special project shot at The Apartment in partnership with Shopstyle introducing you to a (rainy) day in the life of two fashion bloggers.

Me and Liv from What Olivia Did were getting ready for a day full of shows and events, getting our hair and make up done and picking some lovely River Island outfits to wear. Add some donuts to it and the day was so much fun! The rain obviously didn’t make it easier for us but it definitely added some laughter and good vibes to the atmosphere.

I wore two River Island outfits that day. For our indoor activities I chose black leather-look culottes with an asymmetric dark green top and matching suede heels. Quite effortlessly I managed to combine several current trends into one look. Let me jut list them: turtleneck tops, dark green (army) colour, leather and culottes. Whoa, River Island makes it easy to be on top of the trends for sure!

For my outdoor look I decided to maybe be slightly controversial and pick a cream coloured outfit (mind you I did’t expect it to rain that day). I just feel like as it is still just the beginning of the autumn and days are still quite warm I am in no rush to wear warm and dark clothes (which I always end up doing for the majority of the autumn/winter months). And again I covered several trends of the season in this outfit which are flared jeans (this one is a biggie!), sleeveless jackets, turtlenecks and pointy flats. All in all, a one happy fashion blogger 😀
