Transitional Season With H&M

‘Tis the season to be warmer! Even though it’s still October, it already gets pretty chilly in London. Now is the perfect time to update your wardrobe with a few key trans-seasonal pieces. Pieces that will keep you warm enough when needed, but also not overheat you when the sun is shining. Recently (and I’m sure a lot of you will agree!) I’ve found it quite challenging to dress weather-appropriate, as London is being so unpredictable. It can be almost freezing early in the morning and late in the evening, but gets really warm during the day. So it’s very easy to end up either overdressed or underdressed in this great city.

I feel like this season I am really mastering the art of building a transitional wardrobe. I found some great pieces in the H&M Winter Fashion collection that look super trendy and make my outfit choices a whole lot easier. I have shot two of my favourite items from this collection to show you just how versatile they are for this time of year.

The tasseled H&M cardigan is so soft, warm and so easy to wear! It’s an absolute must-have for layered outfits and can be worn with jeans, skirts and even over dresses. Wear it with heels, boots or trainers and every time it will add the trendy boho vibe to any of the outfits. It can easily replace a coat and keep you equally as warm.

The maxi H&M dress from the second look is what any fashion-forward girl could wish for. Trust me, it’s not that easy to find a non-summery maxi dress with long sleeves that you can wear with a coat or a biker jacket. Most maxi dresses are too light to wear during autumn and winter, but this one, with it’s lovely print, is definitely an exception! I can imagine wearing it with boots, hats, long coats and suede jackets. It has such a trendy edge to it! I can’t wait to wear it more and experiment with layers as the weather gets colder.
