Hey guys! I am so glad to finally start sharing pictures from my trip to Bermuda which happened the other week (you are probably aware that I went if you follow me on Instagram and Snapchat). So let me tell you all about it and let’s start with the main reason why we were there.

So a couple of months ago Bermuda Tourism Authority invited me to join them on this trip to explore Bermuda and watch the America’s Cup – the world’s most prestigious sailing event, presented by Louis Vuitton. Can you imagine how excited I was?! I could barely concentrate during my New York and Santorini trips as I knew what an amazing experience was waiting for me in October. And it lived up to all my expectations! I will be sharing several posts with you talking about all the different aspects of this beautiful island, its lifestyle and our adventures. But, first things first, let me tell you all about the America’s Cup!

So Bermuda was the host of the 35th America’s Cup presented by Louis Vuitton and it was THE place to be on October 17th-18th when the entire world was watching this incredibly exciting sailing race. We were there on both days and I can now proudly say that I’ve been a part of this experience. On the first day we were watching the race from the boat and on the second one from the VIP America’s Cup hospitality club. Both experiences were great and absolutely new to me. Watching from the boat was meant to be so breathtaking, but, unfortunately, that day there was absolutely no wind (and wind is essential for sailing, obviously) and the race got cancelled and moved to the next day (on top of what was already planned for that day). To be honest, being on the boat, without any wind and enjoying the food, drinks and the sun was all I could possibly ask for! So you’ll hear no complaints from me 🙂 And the next day, with just the right amount of wind, we could watch the race from our VIP club. That day Swedish team scored the most points (which Patrik was very happy about). The America’s Cup finals will be held in 2017.

So now that you I’ve opened my Bermuda ‘series’ please come back soon for more! I can’t wait to show you its pink sand beaches, colourful houses and incredible nature!
