Exploring Bermuda. Part 1.

Hey guys! How was your weekend? Did you celebrate Halloween?

I am back with more pictures from Bermuda and this time I will show you several beautiful locations from around the island. Twice during our stay we had a brilliant taxi driver/tour guide who was driving us to shoot at the prettiest and most interesting locations while telling us all about them. Trust me, London taxi drivers could learn a lot from Bermudian ones. The knowledge they possess about the island and their friendliness is just unbeatable. Bermuda is quite small (54 sq. km) so it’s not surprising at all that taxi drivers know the island and it’s history so well. Its cozy size also allowed us to see pretty much an entire island in a couple of days. Which is great for the pictures as I can sum it up for you really well.

As I mentioned in my previous post, the water around the island has a different shade of blue in different locations.  And yet every time, its’ colour is just unbelievable! Add some wind and waves to it and the view is breathtaking! While driving around Bermuda it’s almost impossible to stop taking pictures. With every new turn we had to ask our driver to stop to capture yet another image. Bermudians are very lucky! There aren’t many places in the world that can outdo the beauty of this island.

So in this post I am showing you pictures from the Botanical Gardens, Somerset village, Town of St. George and other beautiful locations. You really don’t have to go far to find amazing views in Bermuda, they are everywhere! The island is a perfect mix of Caribbean/Atlantic nature and weather and colourful architecture. Bright houses of all shades of the rainbow make the island look like something out of the toy story and bring the happy vibe to it. By the way, it’s the woman of the house who gets to decide on the colour. I kept thinking which colour would I pick, but it turned out to be an impossible decision:) Bermuda is divided into parishes and has only one city (Hamilton) and one town (St.George). And it’s also the friendliest place ever!

Hope you enjoy these pictures and come back for more updates soon! Read more about Bermuda here: www.GoToBermuda.co.uk
