Happy Sunday! How is everyone doing?
I went to a big birthday celebration yesterday so am spending today at home blogging and packing for my next trip tomorrow! Can’t wait to tell you where I am going, but will keep the suspence for a bit longer.
Now, I wanted to dedicate this post to the hair! I always feel like while confidence starts on the inside it’s the hair that gives it to us on the outside. Knowing from my own experience – no fancy outfits or make up can save the situation if the hair is not ‘on point’ that day. And as we all would probably agree, hair tends to have a mind and life of its own, right? And it works in the mysterious ways: it’s great when you are not trying and a disaster when you are. How many times have I stood in front of the mirror trying to recreate yesterday’s perfect and accidental(!) messy bun without any luck! I wonder if there are people (who aren’t professional hair stylists) who just nail it every time? Not me for sure:)
That’s why when professionals take the matter (and my hair) into their hands the results make me squeek with excitement! Last week we met up to try some currently trending hair styles and do a shoot with our friends and total hair gurus – Maria Galati and Mattia Esposito who have achieved some amazing results in this fast-changing industry (you can see what I am talking about if you check their Instagram). This first look is all about using hair accessories to add a gentle touch to the messy up-do. I love mixing different vibes like that. I do that in my outfits too. So this look is very me! Note to self – need to experiment with my hair more!
Hope you like it guys x

Oh my Julia… You’re looking majestic top to bottom!! Now, hair is something that I’m very much “lost” in… I love dressing up, I love knowing and learning more about the make up, etc., but I totally s*ck in the hair department. I love checking tutorials and such but I never put them into “practice” and always end up with two boring, same hairstyles: hair let down or hair put up in a messy bun. 😀
I’m loving all of your jewellery and coat!!!
