Dinarobin Hotel Golf & Spa. Mauritius

written by Julia Lundin March 26, 2016

Happy Easter weekend guys! Hope you are having a nice time! We are spending this bank holiday in London and I am catching up on some work and home time. Plus it’s quite grey outside so it’s cosy to stay inside. Add to it my still very fresh memories from Mauritius and I’m in a very good place :D. Although I have to admit going through all these beachy pictures makes me crave to be back!

So as I mentioned in my previous post I went to Mauritius to check out and enjoy two Beachcomber Hotels properties. And this post is going to be all about their five stars Dinarobin Hotel Golf & Spa resort. It was our second destination on the island and we spent three nights there. Dinarobin is a bigger resort than Royal Palm yet I still felt like I can have all the privacy I needed if I wanted. It is known as one of the most elegant and comfortable resorts in Mauritius with the Le Morne Mountain as its backdrop! Which basically just makes it purely breathtaking!

We have arrived in the evening and had a lovely dinner in one of the four restaurants that Dinarobin has to offer. We then had an early’ish night as it was a very early start next morning because we were going on boat to watch wild dolphins! Now that’s a bucket list activity, isn’t it? We did’t even need to go far from the shore and saw so many dolphins swimming around our boat! I was a scaredy cat and didn’t go swimming with them but other girls did. It was really a very special morning!

Our next few days involved lots of eating (and even having a private cooking class on the beach where we all received our Creole Cuisine cooking diplomas), spa treatment and lots of chilling. We also went on an excursion which I am going to tell you about in a separate post.

I could have easily spend weeks in Dinarobin, as it has so much to offer both for those who just want to relax and indulge and for those who are restless and crave some activities (you can play tennis, golf, ping pong, go to the gym or do water sports). I combined both and chose swimming in their huge 58 metres pool as my activity (one does need to shake all those Nutella crepes off after all:D). And in the end of each day you can watch the sunset from the beach bar while sipping cocktails or fresh coconut water. Oh, that island life! I was so quick to get used to it!

Enjoy the pictures!

The sense of “freedom” that I get while checking through these photos is incredible… I can only imagine how it was to be there! 🙂
All of the food looks so delicious and the private cooking class on the beach sounds like something I’d love to have been part of!
Have a nice time at home and Happy Easter to you and your man!

That beach looks amazing! Can’t blame you for not wanting to leave.
