How to wear denim jacket in the autumn

The key to wearing a denim jacket in autumn is layers. Pile those layers as much or as little as you want depending on the temperature outside. In this look I am wearing three more things under the jacket so the recent drop in London’s degrees is not the reason to put this denim goodness aside. If you noticed I’ve been wearing oversized blue denim jacket a lot this summer (here and here). Something about it’s shape, colour and cut made me feel like pretty much any outfit looked way cooler while paired with it. So when I went to Zara this week to just kill a few minutes before my next meeting and saw this ‘Make Mama Proud’ black denim jacket I couldn’t not buy it. And while I had to buy my blue one in XXL size to create the oversized look that I wanted, this Zara one is meant to be oversized on purpose (even though both sizes S and M looked great, I still chose M for some extra puffiness).

Wear denim jackets with sneakers or sleek heels, with jeans or dresses and, trust me, you will nail it every time! And you’ll feel cool! I don’t know a better word to describe the feeling 🙂
And if you want to keep on wearing it even in the winter you can always add a warm vest underneath and attach a faux fur collar. See how versatile this piece can be?
