How to master autumnal style like a pro

This year I am embracing and loving autumn like never before. To be honest, I’m always sad when summer finishes and usually I wish that trees won’t change their colour for as long as possible. That was true until this year. And I don’t really have a reason for why this change in my perception occurred. I just know that I have never been as inspired by the colours and cosy vibes of this season as I am now.

I have embraced autumn in both my fashion and photography style and I thought I would share some tips on how to do that with you.

OUTFITS

With the weather getting colder and colder every day, we obviously want to stay warm, season appropriate and stylish. One of the best ways of doing that is by mastering the art of layering. Be it a tee underneath a sweater with a trench coat and a scarf on top or a thousand of other possible layering scenarios, it’s your chance to showcase your creativity and sense of style.A great pair of over the knee boots is also almost a must in the autumn as they are so easy to wear. Other autumnal must-haves include:

• knitwear (the chunkier the better)
• cosy beanies
• oversized scarves
• teddy coats
• everything in mustard, burgundy, tan, dark green and navy colors to complement the seasonal vibe

PHOTOGRAPHY

If you look at my Instagram feed you’ll notice that I also embraced autumn in my photo editing style. My pictures are now much warmer than before. They also truly represent and celebrate the current season. There are lots of golden leaves, beautiful trees, cosy surroundings and heartwarming atmosphere. I think it’s also the first time that I am actually certain in what I want my pictures to look like. I want my audience to feel warm and cosy just by looking at them, I want people to start noticing how beautiful nature is this time of the year and to start appreciating the everyday details.
